Mission Statement:

Our vision is to transform lives and communities across the Central PA region through engagement in the arts.

BARAK uses the arts as a platform to:

1. Mentor youth
2. Help revitalize neighborhoods and communities
   
3. Build bridges of reconciliation and healing across our community.
   
4. Entertain our community with quality, socially relevant events and performances

Stop the Violence Initiative:

Developed to encourage youth to use the arts as a positive means of self-expression. In order to prevent and intervene in youth violence, we encourage our young people in constructive group activities during non-school hours. We provide positive youth and adult interactions, and provide opportunity for youth to receive recognition for their positive efforts.
